Bandai stated that Gundam Unicorn OVA series will be available on Xbox Live and Zune for US and Europe market in both HD and SD format. The series will also be in Blue-ray disc. This will be a great news for Gundam lovers in these market.

Discovering the Super Robot Wars Franchise

I received a random message through my contact form a few days ago by a behind the scenes reader of my blog named Jimmy who urged me to check out an anime called Super Robot Wars Taisen OG: The Inspector. I have never seen or heard of Super Robot Wars before and a quick Google search revealed that it is a long running franchise with various video game, anime and manga releases. I got excited by my early findings and decided to check out the first couple episodes of Super Robot Wars Taisen OG: The Inspector.
I have always had a liking for mecha/robot anime and it is well known that I am a fan of Gundam. Every now and again I take a peak out of my Gundam comfort zone to find interesting mecha anime gems like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and many others. But what about Super Robot Wars Taisen OG: The Inspector did? Was it worth my time? Did I regret watching the first couple of episodes?

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Episode 2
The 2nd episode of Gundam Unicorn has finally came out on October 31st. Char Clone, Banagher's first time gundam piloting is the main focus of this episode.
The best part of this episode involves sound. Seems strange :P. The sound tracks describes the mood and scenario esp good. The voice actors know what they are doing as well.

Gundam Unicorn Anime Character: E.F.S.F
MIHIRO OIWAKKEN - An officer aboard the assault landing ship Nahel Argama, which is part of the Londo Bell unit of the Earth Federation Space Forces. Mihiro is a communications operator with an intelligent and cheerful personality.
RIDDHE MARCENAS - A pilot with the Londo Bell unit of the Earth Federation Space Forces. He holds the rank of Ensign and pilots a ReZEL mobile suit. Although Riddhe is the heir to the politically influential Marcenas family, he joined the military to escape the constraints of his family.
DAGUZA MACKLE - The leader of the Earth Federation Forces' ECOAS 920 special forces team. He holds the rank of Commander, and leads the operation to prevent the opening of Laplace's Box.
OTTO MITAS - The captain of the assault landing ship Nahel Argama, which is assigned to the Londo Bell unit of the Earth Federation Forces. He holds the rank of Captain.
